You’ve stumbled upon the Safari Collection page of the Exclusive Tents website, and see a few different designs. The difference between them, is their widths. You have the Babalala with a living space width of 3.5 meters (11 feet 5 inches), the Spirowiri with a living space width of 4.5 meters (14 feet 9 inches), and the Satao with a living space width of 5 meters (16 feet 4 inches). When you go into these pages. You’ll see a bunch of measurements, available body sizes, 4 Leg, 5 Leg, 6 Leg options. And I know.. its super confusing.. But today, I am going to make it simple and break down the Safari Collection.

Its been WAY too long, so lets catch everyone up on whats been going on this side of the screen, here at Exclusive Tents. As mentioned in a previous video, this year started with a bang! And well.. here we are the middle of the year and it doesn’t seem like its slowing down anytime soon. Which is a great thing! And we couldn’t be happier with how everything is going. For the second time this year, we have had to expand our quality control center. The old one, just wasn’t big enough. Every tent we manufacture, gets setup, and the quality control team goes through the tent with a fine tooth comb. They check every stitch, weld, and measurement to make sure the tent is 100% before it gets out to you. With that being said, we have quite a few Exclusive Tents that finished up with QC and are on the way to the United States. A luxury resort that is using a mix of Phelwanes and Tsotsis have their tents on the way to the east coast of the US. And as pictures roll in of the setup, we will be sure to share them as soon as we can. Along with the tents going to the east coast of the US, on the other side of the country, we have 2 Satao tents that are going through quality control, and will be sent out to the San Francisco area. These 2 tents will be apart of a small boutique Airbnb. Designing new tents, is kind of our thing. The first Isilo tent also has left the factory and landed in Australia. They’re currently waiting for the tent to get out of customs, and delivered to their property to be setup. This will be a mock up tent for a beach resort. Finishing up in production is the all new Alchera tent design. If are not subscribed to our newsletter, you probably missed the announcement. The Alchera tent was designed for a unique mobile luxury tented camp. This tent has a tall roof with a steep pitch. And was inspired by the old cattle station houses where the ranch hands used to live. As pictures come out of these tents, be sure to keep an eye on the social media pages and the next newsletter for the updates. You know you’re doing a great job, when a customer comes back for more tents. Earlier this year a Babalala tent was setup in Isreal. This tent is part of a winery and now after a few months of being open, they have ordered 3 more, which are currently in production. We put a link to their website in the description below. In the beginning of June, Zane and I took a road trip out to Texas! We went out and helped an awesome customer and friend with the setup of their Satao. One of my favorite things about this tent is that they went out of the box with their colors, and chose the Burgundy PVC fly and Mint green shade net. It turned out great! This project is still under construction, and once they’re ready for guests, we will be sharing their info as soon as we can…. This interview is long over due! Today, we have the Owner and operator of 4 Rivers Floating Eco Lodge in Cambodia, Valentin Pawlik, and the Owner and CEO of Exclusive Tents, Paul Zway, who is making his debut on the channel. We are going to have a casual conversation on how 4 Rivers came to be. We all laugh about it, because we know the truth. But before we get started, let’s clear the air once and for all. A few companies out there take credit for 4 Rivers, and use the photos of your tents in their promotions. But what company did you work with, and order your tents from? Through your time of building 4 Rivers, you and Paul have become good friends. Paul has even flown out for a few days to spend time with you in Romania, and helped with the setup of your tents in Cambodia. Can you both share a story of your adventures together? Valentin, is 4 Rivers the first resort that you developed, or have you been in the hospitality industry for a while? Paul you have had the pleasure of going to 4 Rivers, but Valentin, can you tell us what makes your resort so unique? Valentin, you were a little before your time. To my knowledge, you may be one of the first ones to develop a glamping resort at the scale that you did. When you were planning out your ideas, tents and glamping was a foreign concept. What made you choose them over a traditional structure? Paul, it was many years ago now, but do you remember when Valentin reached out to you? And how did the beginning conversations go? Did the project start with the idea to put the tents on floating platforms? Valentin, you’ve definitely watched Glamping grow from nobody knowing what it is, to a hot topic in the hospitality industry. Do you have any predictions for the future? And Valentin, if you were to give one piece of advice to a person wanting to get into the glamping industry, or start a project of their own what would it be?

Exclusive Tents was founded in 2005, but the Zway's and Maree's have been perfecting our craft since 1984. We are two families that came together to make the most durable and luxurious glamping tents on the market. Every stitch stitched, every piece of canvas cut, and every welded piece of steel is our form of art. To us, these are more than just tents, these are pieces of art crafted from our hands with passion and love. Each tent is so special to us, that we find it difficult to send them off to their new destinations. But as the next set of tents set sail to its new home, whether it be Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, USA, Mexico or wherever, we know we are slowly decorating the earth. With a mission of keeping things eco friendly, with minimal footprint, and integrating nature within our designs, there are an infinite amount of options.
